To Diane and family,

It has been my privilege to know Bill. I call him a man of integrity. One incident is forever impressed on my mind. When he was in charge of the Seniors and we met in the Academy auditorium, he asked me to play the piano. As I sat waiting, Mildred Druiker came in and sat at the piano. She was a great pianist and that was fine with me. But not with Bill. He walked over to her and said he had asked me to play – a man of his word.

The many weeks he led the Star of Hope services at Preakness Heathcare showed his faithfulness.

And I can never forget celebrating his birthday at the buffet when he treated us. It should have been the other way around!
